Nottingham University Business School is offering 7 fully funded PhD Scholarships for home/EU and overseas candidates across all research areas. These Scholarships are available to pursue PhD programme.
The aim of these scholarships is to provide financial help to the home/EU and overseas candidates.
Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) is the business school of the University of Nottingham, the United Kingdom situated on the university’s Jubilee Campus.
The business school was formed from the university’s departments of industrial economics, accounting and insurance and its Institute of Management Studies. The school was originally known as the School of Management and Finance.
Degree Level: These scholarships are available to pursue PhD programme.
Available Subject: These scholarships will be awarded in any of the subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Benefits: These scholarships will cover full tuition fees as well as a tax-free stipend of £14,553 [RCUK rate for 2017].
Eligibility Criteria: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
- A 2.1 or higher honours degree in a social science, and
- A Masters degree which includes a substantial research element, with an average score of over 65% in the taught modules and 65% or above in the dissertation.
Eligible Nationality: Home/EU and overseas candidates across all research areas can apply for these scholarships.
Application Procedure: Application must include a research proposal, which should indicate the area in which the research will be conducted and the key issues that you want to examine in more detail.
In addition, please also enclose the following with your application form:
- Transcripts of all your academic qualifications. If you have not completed your Master’s degree yet, you should include a transcript of the marks received to date. Any offer is conditional upon achieving the required standard.
- 2 academic references.
- English language test result, if English is not your first language.
