The Cardiff University is pleased to offer studentship in engineering to undertake PhD degree program. The Studentship is awarded to students of any nationality. Successful applicant will work on the research project entitled ‘Optimisation for novel material for additive manufacturing’ under the supervision of Dr H Alicia Kim.
The aim of the PhD studentship is to enable and encourage academically able students from any nationality.

Candidates should hold or expect to gain a first class degree or a good 2:1 and/or an appropriate Master’s level qualification (or their equivalent). Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the English language (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent).

This studentship is open to students of any nationality. Students classified as international for fee purposes have to self-fund the difference between home and international fees.
Academic criteria
Candidates should hold or expect to gain a first class or a good 2:1 MEng degree and/or an appropriate Master’s level qualification (or their equivalent) in a relevant subject area (engineering, physics, applied mathematics).
