For the academic year 2017-2018, the University of Law is offering four full-fee scholarships. These are awarded to students wishing to study GDL or LPC in September 2017.

The University of Law is a for-profit, private university in the United Kingdom, providing law degrees, specialist legal training, and continuing professional development courses for British barristers and solicitors.
If students have completed a degree outside the UK and they do not come from a ‘majority English speaking country’.
Degree Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing the postgraduate programme.
Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of law.
Scholarship benefits: Full-fee scholarships are available for students.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet the following area for these scholarships:
- Applicants must obtain (or expect to be awarded) at least a Lower Second Class degree or international equivalent.
- Applicants will need to have received an offer for one of their postgraduate courses and be from a household where income for the last 12 months has been £25,000 or less.
Eligible Nationalities: UK and international students can apply for these scholarships.
Application Procedure:
- On receipt of your scholarship application, you will be invited to take an online skills assessment and if successful, you will be required to submit a short essay on a law-related topic.
- Students who submit an essay but are not awarded a full-fee scholarship will automatically be put forward for the runner-up award, worth £2,000 (four runner-up awards available).
Deadline: The application deadline for September 2017 entry is July 3, 2017.
