Scholarship Description: The University of Hawaii is inviting applications for International Merit Award Scholarships. This scholarship is an automatic scholarship awarded to students for each year of undergraduate study.
Scholarship Provider: The University of Hawaii system is a public, co-educational college and university system that confers associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees through three university campuses, seven community college campuses, an employment training center, three university centers, four education centers and various other research facilities distributed across six islands throughout the State of Hawaii in the United States.
Degree Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate programme.
Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship benefits: This scholarship allows students to pay a tuition rate of 150% of the University’s resident tuition rate. (valued at ~ $16,488 per year for each year of attendance)
Eligible Nationalities: International students are eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria: To be considered for admission, you must have completed or are in the process of completing secondary school with a cumulative or overall grade point average (GPA) equivalent of B or higher. The focus will also be on the grades/marks you have received for Mathematics and Science courses.
English Language Requirements: All applicants whose native language is not English must submit an official TOEFL score report from a test taken within the last two years. An official TOEFL score report must be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service to the Office of Admissions.
