International Cambridge Scholarships

The University of Cambridge will offer, via the Cambridge Trusts, the Cambridge International Scholarships to highest ranked international students undertaking PhD studies at the University. For UK and EU students, the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards is similarly offered.

Degree Level: The International Cambridge Scholarship offers PhD Programs scholarship at University of Cambridge.

Available Subjects: Eligible research programmes leading to a PhD offered at the University.

Scholarship Benefits: Fully funded scholarship. The scholarships pay the University Composition Fee and a maintenance allowance sufficient for a single person.

Eligible Nationalities: Students from outside EU region, classified as international fee paying students.

Eligibility Criteria: A University Committee draws up one ranked list of all PhD candidates across all disciplines.  The only factors taken into consideration in agreeing this list are academic qualifications, references and research potential.  The financial situation of applicants does not affect the selection of scholarship winners.

Application procedure:

All applicants should complete the funding section of the online application form via the Applicant Portal expressing their ‘wish to be considered for funding’. Applicants who wish to start their PhDs in in 2019-20 must apply by either the 3 December 2019 or 7 January 2020 deadline, whichever deadline is appropriate for your course.
