Finance Intern Duties and Responsibilities
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
• Report on periodic variances and their causes, perform analysis and provide management with recommendations on reserve requirements
• Assist with updates and other maintenance to cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization
• Provide general accounting support including journal entries and account reconciliation
• Support annual inventory standard cost roll
• Participate in physical inventories
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and other special projects

• Current student with an expected graduation date of June 2023 or earlier or recent graduate (within the past 2 years)
• Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related major
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated with a desire to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
