Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES) at La Trobe University, Australia
La Trobe University is offering academic excellence scholarships for students starting full-time undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs for Semester 1 2017. Scholarships are available for international students other than Australia or New Zealand in an area of study. The aim of the academic excellence scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able students from any nationality. La Trobe will be a University known for its excellence and innovation in relation to the big issues of our time, and for its enthusiasm to make a difference. It is one of the top three Universities in Victoria, one of the top dozen nationally and one of the top 300 internationally. Applicants must have scored 85% or equivalent in their previous degree/award, and meet English language and academic entry requirements. Applicants have to take IELTS test for entry, If they are having their TOEFL results sent directly to La Trobe, the TOEFL institutional code is 9785.
- Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs at La Trobe University.
- Scholarships are tenable in all subjects offered by the La Trobe University.
- Scholarships are worth between $10,000 and $20,000. These scholarships are paid across a maximum of two semesters (or 12 months).

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and be applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program. They must also have scored 85% or equivalent in their previous degree/award, and meet English language and academic entry requirements. They are not eligible if they are starting a Higher Degree by Research, exchange program, Study Abroad program, ELICOS and Foundation Studies program, or Diploma course.

Application Procedure: Applications should be submitted via email. Applicants must have received an offer of study at university. Scan and upload these documents into the Student Portal:
- Copies of applicants academic qualifications in their language and in a certified English translation. Applicants will need to submit their originals or certified copies of academic qualifications when applicants accept offer.
- Evidence of applicants English language proficiency.
- Any other information specified in the entry requirements for their course.
- Any supplementary application forms required.
