Birmingham City University is delighted to announce the Vice-Chancellor Scholarships worth £5,000 for applicants starting with us in September 2017. The scholarships are given based on your academic merit, previous qualifications and your ambition to make a significant contribution to your chosen career field.

Birmingham City University (abbrev. BCU) is a modern university in the city of Birmingham, England. Initially established as the Birmingham College of Art with roots dating back to 1843, it was designated as a polytechnic in 1971 and gained university status in 1992.

Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing the postgraduate programme.

Available Subject: Scholarships are offered in diverse fields to help students in upgrading their education.

Scholarship Benefits: The £5,000 scholarship will be deducted from tuition fee for courses starting in the 2017/18 academic year. Please note that it is not possible to hold more than one scholarship from Birmingham City University.

Eligibility: 

  • Students who have submitted an application for September 2017 entry
  • For undergraduate students who have secured/are predicted at least 120 UCAS points (300 points in old tariff)
  • For postgraduate students who have secured at least a 2:1 in their bachelor’s degree
  • Students who are liable to pay the non-EU tuition fee
  • Students who have undertaken excellent work experience
  • Students who have contributed to society and/or your community

Nationality: International students are eligible to apply.
