Dan David Foundation and Tel Aviv University offer scholarships to encourage innovative and interdisciplinary research that cuts across traditional boundaries and paradigms.

The Dan David Prize laureates annually donate twenty scholarships of US$15,000 each to outstanding doctoral and postdoctoral students of exceptional promise in the chosen fields for the current year.

The Dan David Prize recognizes and encourages innovative and interdisciplinary research that cuts across traditional boundaries and paradigms. It aims to foster universal values of excellence, creativity, justice, democracy and progress and to promote the scientific, technological and humanistic achievements that advance and improve our world.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available for undertaking doctoral and postdoctoral research program.

Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the chosen fields for the current year. The Dan David Prize covers three-time dimensions: Past, Present and Future. The selected fields for 2017 are as follows: Past: Archaeology and Natural Sciences; Present: Literature; Future: Astronomy.

Scholarship Benefits: The Dan David Prize laureates annually donate twenty scholarships of US$15,000 each to outstanding doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers of exceptional promise in the chosen fields for the current year. Ten scholarships are awarded to students at universities throughout the world and ten scholarships to students at Tel Aviv University.

Eligibility Criteria: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for this prize:

The prizes are granted to individuals or institutions with proven, exceptional, distinct excellence in the sciences, arts, humanities, public service and business, that have made and continue to make an outstanding contribution to humanity on the basis of merit, without discrimination of gender, race, religion, nationality, or political affiliation.

Eligible Nationalities: International students can apply for these Dan David scholarships.

Application Procedure: Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this prize.
