Scholarship Description: The Berlin Mathematical School (BMS) is currently accepting applications for Dirichlet Postdoc Fellowship starting in the fall of 2018. This three-year position is open to promising young mathematicians who will have completed their PhD degree by 30 September 2018 and want to pursue their own research in one of the eight research fields of mathematics offered by the Berlin Mathematical School.

Scholarship Provider: The Berlin Mathematical School (BMS) is a joint graduate school of the mathematics departments of the three major Berlin universities, TU Berlin, FU Berlin, and HU Berlin. BMS invite excellent mathematics students from Berlin, Germany, Europe and all over the world to join BMS – and to make good use of the ample opportunities offered by the rich and diverse mathematics teaching and research environment.

Degree Level: Fellowship is available to pursue Postdoctoral programme.

Available Subject: Fellowship is awarded to young mathematicians who want to pursue their own research in one of the eight research fields of mathematics offered by the Berlin Mathematical School.

Scholarship Benefits: The competitive full-year salary includes health insurance.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this scholarship you must meet the following requirements:

The Berlin Mathematical School (BMS) invites applications for the Dirichlet Postdoc Fellowship starting in the fall of 2018. This three-year position is open to promising young mathematicians who will have completed their PhD degree by 30 September 2018 and want to pursue their own research in one of the eight research fields of mathematics offered by the Berlin Mathematical School. The competitive full-year salary includes health insurance. Fellows are expected to teach one course per semester, typically in English at the graduate level. Applications from well-qualified individuals, especially women, are highly encouraged.
