Scholarship Description: The Regent’s University London is currently accepting applications for The Dean of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences Excellence Scholarship for September intake only.
Degree Level: Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate programme.

Scholarship Benefits: Three scholarships covering a quarter of the fees for one standard programme duration, one in Fashion & Design, one in Film, Media & Performance and one in Liberal Arts.
Number of Scholarships: Three scholarships are available.
Eligible Nationalities: Students of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this programme.
To enter the competition for the 2018/19 Dean of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences Excellence Scholarship, you should achieve at least three Bs at A-level (or the international equivalent)
The scholarship is not available to transfer students or students who join a degree programme with advanced standing.
Application Procedure: This scholarship is awarded through competition.
To enter the competition for the 2018/19 Dean of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences Excellence Scholarship, you should achieve at least three Bs at A-level (or the international equivalent) and follow the guidelines for your chosen subject below:
Fashion & Design
BA (Hons) Fashion Design, BA (Hons) Fashion Design with Marketing and BA (Hons) Interior Design applicants
- Submit a portfolio of art and design work (electronically, if possible), including research and sketchbook material
AND
- Explain in 300 words why you wish to study fashion and design at Regent’s University London
BA (Hons) Fashion marketing applicants
- Research and write a critical and analytical essay of 1,000 words on the following topic:
- Choose a luxury fashion brand. Explore how they have used modern technology to market fashion.
AND
- Explain in 300 words why you wish to study fashion marketing at Regent’s University London
Film, Media & Performance
BA (Hons) Acting & World Theatre applicants
- Research and write a critical and analytical essay of 1,000 words on the following topic:
- ‘Theatre is a meeting point, a crossroads of cultures.’ Discuss the validity of this statement, referring to specific practitioners or theatre practices.
AND
- Explain in 300 words why you wish to study acting and world theatre at Regent’s University London
BA (Hons) Film, TV & Digital Media Production applicants
- Write a 1,000-word treatment for a new television project – fiction, documentary or light entertainment
AND
- Explain in 300 words why you wish to study film, TV and digital media production at Regent’s University London
BA (Hons) Screenwriting & producing applicants
- Write a five-page script on a subject of your own choosing. Make sure the story is concluded so that your piece is not just the opening for a longer project
AND
- Explain in 300 words why you wish to study screenwriting and producing at Regent’s University London
Liberal Arts & Humanities
BA Liberal Studies applicants
- Research and write a critical and analytical essay of 1,000 words on the following topic:
- What are the benefits of a liberal arts education?
AND
- Explain in 300 words why you wish to study liberal arts at Regent’s University London
