Scholarship Description: The University of Strathclyde is pleased to offer Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences International Undergraduate Scholarship Award for the year 2017. All new international students (excluding the USA and Canada) are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.
The aim of the scholarship is to provide financial help to all new international students.
About University: The University of Strathclyde is a Scottish public research university located in Glasgow, United Kingdom. The University of Strathclyde is Scotland’s third-largest university by the number of students, with students and staff from over 100 countries.
Degree Level: Scholarships are available to pursue undergraduate programme.
Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded in Physical activity for health, Politics, History, Modern Languages, Speech and language therapy, Education, Law, English, Psychology, Social work and social policy within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Scholarship Benefits: The award is a £3,000 scholarship per year for the duration of their degree. These awards are not renewable.
Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
- International fee-paying students only (excluding the USA and Canada).
- Applicants who are applying for a three/four-year undergraduate degree course in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. This also includes two-year Graduate entry students on the LLB course.
Eligible Nationality: All new international students (excluding the USA and Canada) are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.
Application Procedure: Students who have an offer for an undergraduate course in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences will be notified that they are eligible for the award. Following the closing date, all applicants will be assessed and awards made based on merit and the personal statement on their application form.
Deadline: Scholarship application deadline is July 31, 2017.
