Fully Funded ELBE Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in Germany, 2017

Scholarship Description: The Center for Systems Biology Dresden (CSBD) is offering Fully Funded ELBE Postdoc Program in Germany. Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

The Center for Systems Biology Dresden (CSBD) is an initiative of the Max-Planck Society in collaboration with the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD), one of the eleven German Excellence Universities.

Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

Degree Level: Fellowships are available to pursue postdoctoral programme.

Available Subject: Fellowships are awarded in Computational Biology, Theoretical Physics, Biophysics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Cell and Developmental Biology and a strong interest to work in the cross-disciplinary environment of the CSBD.

Scholarship Benefits: This is a fully-funded fellowship program.

 

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

Applicant must be the outstanding external candidate that bring new ideas, concepts, or systems to the Center.

Eligible Nationalities: International applicants are eligible to apply for this fellowship.

  • A summary of previous research (max. 1 page) and
  • A concisely worded research statement of the proposed work during your stay at CSBD (1-2 pages), preferably oriented towards the mission and interests of the Center.
