The Design Apprentice Program (DAP), hosted by Store Design is currently seeking undergraduate architecture students who have two semesters (one academic year) remaining in their respective degree programs. DAP is a design-focused, work-learn program where student-apprentices are putting into practice their design abilities while practicing and honing professional skills that can help launch a robust career in architecture, interior design, or store design. The six [6] week summer DAP program comprises project-based learning similar to academic studios and workshops with practicing architects, interior architects, store designers, and other Target business and leadership professionals more broadly as teachers and guides.
About You:
• Undergraduate architecture student with one academic year remaining
• Able to demonstrate most clearly how one may both benefit from- and give to – this DAP program
• Agree to part-time (20 hours/week) collaboration on a single-project team for six weeks
• Participate in a career fundamentals series
• Engage intermittently with a range of allied design professionals
