Youth Villages’ commitment to helping troubled children and their families find success spans more than 30 years and includes a comprehensive array of programs and services including:
• Home-Based Counseling (Intercept)
• Treatment Foster Care
• Residential Services
• LifeNet Transitional Living Services
• Crisis Services
Intern placement with a specific program within each office is determined during the interview process and depends on the current availability, the student’s experience and education level, and the academic requirements of the program.
At the Master’s level, graduate students will have the opportunity to:
• Shadow counselors
• Assist with clinical assessments and documentation
• Learn our medical records system
• Carry a case or assist a counselor with implementing family, individual or group therapy
• Participate in treatment team and consultation meetings as well as receive individual supervision.
At the Bachelor’s level, junior or senior level students will have the opportunity to:
• Shadow counselors
• Assist with clinical assessments and documentation
• Learn our medical records system
• Participate in treatment team and consultation meetings

• Multisystemic Therapy
• Multidimensional Foster Care
• Re-ED
• Family Treatment Model
