HelpAge USA works with our global network of affiliates and partners to implement programs and policies that improve the lives of older people in the world’s poorest communities. We ensure that older people are included in international development and have access to emergency relief, income security, health services, and basic human rights.
HelpAge USA offers internship placements to students or recent graduates who are interested in a career in international development. Interns are generally required on an as-needed basis and this is an ongoing call for applications. Internships are office-based and offered on a voluntary basis for a minimum of two months.
Interns will provide support to HelpAge USA staff across a range of disciplines-from donor research, to online community engagement. This breadth of exposure will allow interns to gain wide-ranging experience in the development sector.
