IPC Dr. Peter Manniche Foundation Scholarships for Developing Countries in Denmark, 2017

International People’s College (IPC) is offering a limited number of Dr. Peter Manniche Foundation Scholarships for students involved in intensive English courses. Applicants from developing countries are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

International People’s College (IPC) is a traditional Danish Folk High School. In contrast to other Danish Folk High Schools, however, IPC is not focused on Denmark and Danish traditions but rather on international studies and the entire globe.

Degree Level: These scholarships are available for pursuing short summer courses.

Available Subject:  Scholarships are awarded for intensive English courses. Two type of courses is available: Danish language, Culture and Society, and English Language & Danish Culture and Society.

Scholarship Benefits: The Dr. Peter Manniche Foundation Scholarships cover full tuition fee, room and board at the school. Additionally, we offer up to 400 US$ to applicants who can demonstrate special financial needs, to cover expenses towards transportation. If you are offered the additional up to 400 US$ grant, it will be offered only as a reimbursement against proof of purchase, i.e. receipt for the purchase of flight ticket, upon arrival at IPC.

The Dr. Peter Manniche Foundation Scholarship does not cover personal allowances, visa and insurance fees.

Number of Scholarships: Limited numbers of scholarships are available.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

International People’s College (IPC) encourage deserving applicants to write a short application essay explaining why you should receive a scholarship. Scholarships are primarily granted to young women and men from developing countries, who have demonstrated active participation in their local communities, an interest in intercultural subjects, and who vigorously believe in and will pursue the ideals and core values as those of the IPC. The final allocations of scholarships are dependent on the motivation of the individual to become an active student at the school expressed through an essay as part of the application.

Entrance Requirements: International People’s College (IPC) encourage deserving applicants to write a short application essay explaining why you should receive a scholarship.

English language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
