Scholarship Description: The MIT Portugal Program, with the financial support of FCT/MCTES (PIDDAC), is proud to announce postdoctoral fellowship under the IAMAT Project of the MIT Portugal Program at IST.
The MIT Portugal Program is an international collaboration seeking to demonstrate that an investment in science, technology, and higher education can have a positive, lasting impact on the economy by addressing key societal issues through quality education and research in the emerging field of engineering systems.
Degree Level: Fellowship is available to pursue postdoctoral programme.
Available Subject: Fellowship is awarded within the scientific areas of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Management under the project “IAMAT – Introduction of Advanced Materials-Based Technologies in the Mobility Industries “with the reference MIT-TB / PFM / 005/2013 at Instituto Superior Técnico.
Scholarship Benefits: The amount of the scholarship corresponds to € 1495, according to the table of values of grants awarded directly by FCT, IP in the Country. Banker / Check Bag option.
Number of Scholarships: One fellowship is available.
Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
Admission requirements: PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related fields. I like research, problem analysis, and development of new solutions, ability to organize, focus on obtaining results, ease of working in groups, availability to travel. Domain of spoken and written English
Preference factors: Experience of analysis and proposal of solutions of case studies in industrial context and in a real environment. Experience in data modelling and analysis. Motivation to carry out a PhD in the context of the project.
