Near East University Postgraduate Scholarships, Turkey
Near East University is pleased to offer scholarships to all postgraduate programs for the 2016-2017 academic year. Turkish and foreign citizens are eligible to apply for these scholarships. 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% scholarships will be given in all Masters (with thesis) and Ph.D. programs. The overreaching aim of establishing the Near East University was to transform the public higher education to improve quality and efficiency of teaching and learning, creating a world-class higher learning institution. The Near East University established in 1988, is located in Nicosia, the capital of North Cyprus, and as an international higher education institution employing highly qualified staff offers the most extensive undergraduate and postgraduate education opportunities to over 26 thousand students coming from over 100 countries. Turkish Proficiency (Required only for foreign students applying to Departments whereby the language of instruction is Turkish. Students applying to the Faculty of Medicine or Dentistry are required to have knowledge of the Turkish Language before beginning clinical training).

Eligibility Criteria: Requirements for applications to postgraduate programs of Near East University are as follows:
- Graduating from a BSc or BA level undergraduate program.
- Obtaining a score minimum 55 which is relevant to intended study field from Academic Postgraduate Education Exam (ALES) (only applies to Turkish Citizens).
- Turkish Proficiency (Required only for foreign students applying to Departments whereby the language of instruction is Turkish. Students applying to the Faculty of Medicine or Dentistry are required to have knowledge of the Turkish Language before beginning clinical training).
Eligible Nationalities: Turkish as well as foreign citizens are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
Entrance Requirements: Applicant must be Graduating from a BSc or BA level undergraduate program.
English language Requirements: Turkish Proficiency (Required only for foreign students applying to Departments whereby the language of instruction is Turkish. Students applying to the Faculty of Medicine or Dentistry are required to have knowledge of the Turkish Language before beginning clinical training).

- Copy of undergraduate diploma
- ALES result for students from Turkey
- Transcript
- Copy of passport
- 2 passport size photos
- 2 reference letters
- Curriculum Vitae.
Deadline: Applications deadline is 31st of August, 2016; results will be announced not later than 30th September 2016.
