Are you a clinician from a low- or middle-income country looking to enhance your expertise in neurological infectious diseases? The University of Liverpool NeuroID International Scholarship is offering a unique opportunity to attend a face-to-face course in Liverpool, United Kingdom, on 19th and 20th June 2024.
What Does the Sponsorship Cover?
The University of Liverpool NeuroID International Scholarship will provide funding that includes:
- Full coverage of the course registration fee
- GBP 600.00 towards travel and accommodation expenses
Am I Eligible?
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a national of and based in a low- or middle-income country
- Not receive any financial support from your institution to attend the course
- Seek funding from other sources first if eligible
We encourage applications from clinicians who would greatly benefit from this support and have limited financial backing.
How to Apply
Interested candidates must apply via email to neuroidc@liverpool.ac.uk no later than 22nd March 2024. Your application should include:
- Full Name
- Nationality
- Speciality
- Grade
- Institution you are currently based at
- CV/Resume
- A short statement (maximum 500 words) explaining:
- Why you want to attend the Liverpool Neurological Infectious Diseases Course
- How this scholarship will benefit you
- Submission of a case for consideration in our case competition
What If My Application Is Unsuccessful?
If you apply but are not awarded a scholarship, you can still register for the course as a regular participant. We will reserve spaces for all unsuccessful applicants for two weeks following the notification period, giving you time to confirm attendance.
