Norwich Business School (NBS) at the University of East Anglia is offering fully funded PhD studentships for January 2017 entry. These studentships are open to both international and Home/EU applicants.

  • University of East Anglia’s aim is to be a world-class research-intensive university and deliver teaching and facilitate learning of the highest quality.
  • The University of East Anglia is an English public research university located in the city of Norwich. Established in 1963, the university comprises 4 faculties and 28 schools of study.
  • If English is not your native language, you must fulfil the Language Requirements for research degrees (IELTS 7.0 at least 6.5 in each component).

Degree Level: Studentships are awarded for pursuing PhD programme.

Available Subject: Studentships available are in the following research areas: Accounting, Finance and Governance; Business Regulation; Employment Systems and Institutions; Innovation & Technology and Operations Management; Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Strategy.

Scholarship Award: Full tuition fees (International/ Home/EU level of fees). A tax-free maintenance grant (£14,296 per year for 2016-7 entry). Conference and training fund £1000 per year. Be a member of NBS’s vibrant and exceptional academic community.

Scholarship can be taken in UK

Eligibility: Applicants should hold, or expect to hold, good undergraduate and Master’s degrees (or equivalent). Applicants should have some research experience (e.g. through undergraduate or Master’s thesis or dissertation, research methods training). Candidates will be interviewed, usually via telephone or Skype, as part of the selection process.
