Overseas Scholarships for Master Degree Programme at Kent Law School in UK, 2017

The University of Kent is offering Kent Law School Taught Masters Overseas Scholarships which is awarded on the basis of academic excellence. Overseas students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

The University of Kent is a public research university based in Kent, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1965 and is recognised as a plate glass university.

The University requires all non-native speakers of English to reach a minimum standard of proficiency in written and spoken English before beginning a postgraduate degree.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available to pursue Master degree programme.

Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded for LLM programme.

Scholarship Benefits: The first will provide tuition fees at the full overseas rate (£14,670 in 2017/18) along with living expenses (equivalent to £14,296 in 2016/17).  The second will provide tuition fees at the full overseas rate.

Number of Scholarships: Limited number of scholarships will be awarded.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

Kent Law School offers a limited number of scholarships to students who are liable to pay overseas student fees. The scholarships are open to all overseas applicants on the Kent LLM programme at the Canterbury campus.

Nationality: Overseas students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

English language Requirements: English Language Requirement: The University requires all non-native speakers of English to reach a minimum standard of proficiency in written and spoken English before beginning a postgraduate degree.

How to Apply: Candidates must apply for a place to study on the Kent LLM at the University through the online process.

Candidates must also complete a KLS PG Funding Application Form (pdf version here) which should be emailed to klspgfunding-at-kent.ac.uk along with the letter making a case for the award and the writing sample.

Deadline: The closing date for applications is Monday, March 20, 2017.
