Applications are invited for Queen’s University Belfast Scholarships for the 2017-2018 academic year. These scholarships are available to exceptionally talented international students who will be starting their full-time studies at Queen’s University Belfast in September 2017.

If student’s first language is not English, evidence of an acceptable level of proficiency will be required. In addition, applicants who are non-EEA nationals must satisfy the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) immigration requirements for English language for visa purposes.
Degree Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate, taught master’s and postgraduate research programme.
Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

International Undergraduate Scholarships
International Office Undergraduate Scholarship: Year one award of £2500 (fee rate 1) or £3000 (fee rate 2) (Including advanced entry into Year 2 or Year 3)
Vice-Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship – Undergraduate: Full tuition fees paid for all years of programme, up to a maximum of four years. (Including advanced entry into Year 2 or Year 3)
Queen’s Loyalty Scholarship: 20% tuition fee reduction on year 1
Early Bird Reward: 10% discount on gross fees – may be used in conjunction with other scholarships.
International Taught Master’s Scholarships
International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarships: Year one award of £2000 (fee rate 1) or £3000 (fee rate 2), (Including advanced entry into Year 2 or Year 3) and Queen’s Management School postgraduate taught programmes will be considered for this scholarship.
Vice-Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship – Postgraduate Taught: Full tuition fees paid for all years of programme, up to a maximum of three years. (Including advanced entry into Year 2 or Year 3)
Queen’s Loyalty Scholarship: 20% tuition fee reduction on year 1

University International PhD Awards (Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences): Non-EU international students. Applications are invited to any of the postgraduate research areas in the AHSS Faculty subject to available supervision.
Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.
Entrance Requirement: The normal minimum requirement for admission to a Master’s degree is a Second Class Honours degree from a UK or Republic of Ireland (ROI) Higher Education Provider or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University.

How to Apply: For some scholarships application is necessary while for other scholarships applicants will be automatically awarded to those who meet the criteria. To make sure your application is processed in the fastest possible time, you should scan and upload the following supporting documents along with your application. University may not be able to make a decision on your application until they have received all your relevant documents. Please provide good quality scanned copies of the following:
- Degree transcripts for all completed periods of study (undergraduate level and above).
- If your degree is still in progress, you must also provide a transcript. These can be requested from your University.
- Copies of your official Degree/Diploma Certificates, for the qualification(s) you have already completed. These are the documents that confirm the level and title of your qualification(s), for example, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
- Research proposal (for MPhil/PhD/MD applicants only).
- Certified translations, if your original documents are not in English. If you do not have translations at the time of application, please forward by email to intl.student-at-qub.ac.uk when available..
