St John’s College, University of Cambridge is offering up 6 research fellowships in 2017. These will be awarded to graduates of a university within or outside the United Kingdom.

The work of St John’s College is built on its four aims. All activities have their foundations in at least one of these guiding principles: Education, Religion, Learning and Research.

St John’s College is one of the oldest and largest colleges in Cambridge. Former students include famous business and political leaders, as well as renowned scientists and artists.

The candidate should have a very good command over the English language.

Course Level: Fellowships are available for pursuing research programme.

Study Subject: Fellowships are awarded to undertake any of the courses offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: The annual salary of Fellows who are not full-time students working for a degree or other qualification is at present on the scale £26,537 to £28,982, and Fellows are permitted to receive additional remuneration for up to six hours’ College or University teaching a week. Fellows who are full-time students will receive a reduced salary until completion of their courses. The salary for a Fellow who has other remunerations (other than that for up to six hours of College or University teaching) will be reduced by the total amount of this remuneration

Eligibility: To be eligible for a Research Fellowship applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements

  • Applicants have completed a degree at a University, or equivalent institution, within or outside the United Kingdom.
  • Applicants may not hold a Fellowship at a Cambridge College (other than a Fellowship without stipend).
  • The College is unable to respond to individual queries by phone, email or letter; please read and follow the instructions carefully.

Nationality: Any graduate of a university within or outside the United Kingdom can apply.

English Language Requirement: The candidate should have a very good command over the English language.
