Scholarship Description: Common Data Access Ltd (CDA) is offering two fully funded scholarship places to provide finance for the academic year 2017/18. Students from all around the world are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

The overall objective, of course, remains the same, which is to support the industry by providing it with a steady stream of qualified data managers with specific knowledge of the subsurface environment.”

About University: Robert Gordon University, commonly referred to as RGU, is a public university in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. It became a university in 1992 and originated from an educational institution founded in the 18th century by Robert Gordon, a prosperous Aberdeen merchant, and various institutions which provided adult education and technical education in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available to pursue Graduate program.

Available Subject: Industry-funded scholarships are being offered for the second intake of a pioneering petroleum data management course for the energy industry.

Scholarship Benefits: CDA has committed to providing two fully funded scholarship places to provide finance for the academic year 2017/18. The award of a scholarship will provide full funding of course fees to the value of £3,030 for the academic year 2017/18.

Number of Scholarships: Two scholarships are available.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

  • The CDA Scholarships will be open to any student, worldwide, who has been offered and has formally accepted the offer of a place on the Graduate Certificate Petroleum Data Management course at Robert Gordon University and who meets the criteria outlined.
  • The award of a scholarship will provide full funding of course fees to the value of £3,030 for the academic year 2017/18.
  • The scholarships will be awarded by an Awards Committee made up of CDA and RGU representatives. Selection criteria for the award will be based on academic merit, personal characteristics, and financial hardship.

Eligible Nationalities: Students from all around the world are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.
