University of Strathclyde is pleased to offer SBS The Business School of the Year Masters Scholarships for the academic year 2017-2018. UK, EEA, RUK, EU, UK and Islands, International students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

The University of Strathclyde is a Scottish public research university located in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Founded in 1796 as the Andersonian Institute, it is Glasgow’s second-oldest university, with the university receiving its royal charter in 1964 as the UK’s first technological university. It takes its name from the historic Kingdom of Strathclyde.

Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available to pursue taught Postgraduate programme.

Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of Entrepreneurship, Hospitality and tourism, Economics, Management Science, Business, Accounting and finance, Strategy and organisation, Management, Human resource management, Marketing.

Scholarship Benefits: Scholarships of up to £10,000 will be awarded.

Number of Scholarships: Up to seven scholarships will be awarded.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship:

The award will be judged on a 1000 word statement supplied by each candidate that should state which programme you wish to be considered for and should clearly articulate how you meet the scholarship criteria.  The essay title is “What are the key challenges and global trends facing business in your specific regions”.

Candidates must also demonstrate through their ideas, experience and achievements that they are an excellent team player, with a strong vision for the future. Leadership/management skills or potential, overall quality of the application and financial need will also be considered. The successful applicant must also be willing to be Strathclyde ambassadors of the future.

Nationality: UK, EEA, RUK, EU, UK and Islands, International students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

Entrance Requirement: Candidates must have already qualified for their degree at the time of application and obtained a First Class Degree or equivalent.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
