The University of Manchester Postgraduate Research Studentships is now open for 2017-2018 entry. Students of all nationalities are eligible to pursue postgraduate research within the School of Mathematics.
The University of Manchester is a public research university in Manchester, England, formed in 2004 by the merger of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and the Victoria University of Manchester.
Degree Level: Studentship is awarded to pursue Postgraduate research.
Available Subject: Scholarship is available within the School of Mathematics.
Scholarship Benefits: Scholarship helps with home tuition fees and maintenance.
Number of Scholarships: Normally 10-12 scholarships each year will be awarded.
Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship.
- Students must have a first class honours degree, or possibly a good upper second class honours degree in Mathematics at Masters level or an appropriate related discipline.
Eligible Nationalities: Students of all nationalities are eligible to apply for these studentships.
Application Procedure: Applicants should highlight on their PhD application form that they wish to be considered for an EPSRC DTA Award or a School Scholarship Award.
