Scholarship Description: Applicants are invited for Senior Research Fellowship to conduct independent high-quality scientific research as a member of a research group in Marketing. The fellowship is exclusively open to international students.

The aim of the fellowship is to support international students who have a strong research orientation, high-quality publication record and active participation in research collaboration, especially in international scientific community.

About University: The University of Oulu is one of the largest universities in Finland, located in the city of Oulu. The university has around 16,000 students and 3,000 staff. The university is often ranked as one of the better universities in Finland and in the top-400 worldwide.

Degree Level: Fellowship is available to pursue research.

Available Subject: Fellowship is awarded in the field of Marketing.

Scholarship Benefits: The salary of the appointed Senior Research Fellow will be set at a level of or 7 the national salary scale for the teaching and research staff of Finnish universities. In addition to this basic salary, supplementary remuneration will be given for personal achievement and performance, the sum rising to a maximum of 46.3% of whatever salary scale (6-7) is set for the post. The salary is in practice roughly 4079 -4937€ per month, depending on the appointee’s qualification and experience.

Eligible Nationalities: International applicants are eligible to apply for the fellowship.

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have a Doctoral degree

The following documents should be included in the application:

Curriculum vitae in English (max. 4 pages).

Publication list grouped as follows: (1) articles in refereed scientific journals; (2) articles in edited books, (3) articles in refereed conference proceedings; (4) scientific monographs, and (5) other scientific publications.

Short description of the research merits relevant to the position and a short presentation of research plans and aspirations (max 4 pages).

Short description of the teaching merits or teaching portfolio (max. 4 pages).

Maximum of 5 publications (delivered in electronic format), which the applicant wants to be acknowledged in the evaluation of her/his qualifications and merits in relation to the job.
