A postgraduate research scholarship.  A scholarship for a PhD student who is willing to research neural activity in Parkinson’s disease.

Benefits

The Scholarship will provide a stipend allowance for up to 3 years according to the below schedule, subject to satisfactory academic performance.

  • Year 1 – US $21,525,
  • Year 2 – US $22,050, and
  • Year 3 – US $22,600.

Who’s eligible

You must:

  • be willing to apply for admission, have an offer of admission or being currently enrolled to study full-time in a PhD within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney
  • conduct research into the dual role of neural activity in parkinson’s disease.

Background

This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research in the dual role of neural activity in Parkinson’s disease.

This scholarship is awarded in whole or in part by Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s Grant ID: ASAP-020529 and Grant ID: MJFF-020649 sponsored by the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF).
