The Phoenix Master’s Winter Scholarship 2025, USA
The Phoenix Master’s Winter Scholarship – March 2025 (“Scholarship”) offers financial assistance to new or returning students who have been out of attendance for over 365 days. Eligible applicants who:
- Apply for and enroll in a University of Phoenix master’s degree program.
- Have at least three years of work experience.
- Submit the scholarship application before the deadline and register for their first class between March 1, 2025, and March 31, 2025 (Initial Attendance Window).
Successful applicants will receive a scholarship of up to $3,000, distributed over 11 courses. Students must initiate the admissions application before completing the scholarship application.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Residency Requirements: Be a U.S. legal resident, hold permanent residency, have a valid educational visa, possess Temporary Protected Status, or have been granted asylum with an approved Notice of Action.
- University Admission: Meet all University of Phoenix admission requirements if selected.
- Employment Status: Not be an employee, faculty member, or an immediate family member (spouse, dependent, or domestic partner) of University of Phoenix or its affiliates.
- Program Enrollment: Apply and be admitted to a University of Phoenix master’s degree program.
- Application Completion: Submit a complete and signed application with all supporting documents by the deadline.
- Work Experience Certification: Confirm three years of work experience as part of the application.
- Attendance Requirement: Enroll and post attendance in the first course within the Initial Attendance Window.
Selection Process
- The University of Phoenix will review applications and select recipients.
- Applicants must submit all required documents before the deadline; incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Scholarships will be awarded without discrimination based on race, gender, age, nationality, or other protected categories.
- Selection is final and not subject to appeal.
- The selection process begins April 1, 2025, with recipients notified by May 8, 2025.
Scholarship Award Distribution
- The maximum award is $3,000, applied as $273 per course for 10 courses and $270 for the 11th course.
- Scholarship funds are applied to tuition and cannot be converted to cash.
- The award expires if the student:
- Completes 11 courses.
- Exceeds two years from their first class.
- Graduates before using the full award.
Scholarship Maintenance Requirements
To maintain eligibility:
- Remain enrolled in an eligible master’s degree program.
- Pass all courses successfully.
- Avoid an unapproved attendance gap exceeding 35 days.
Terms and Conditions
- Application Property: Submitted applications become the property of University of Phoenix.
- Publicity Rights: The University may use recipient names, application content, and images for promotional purposes.
- Non-Cash Award: Scholarships apply only to future tuition and cannot be refunded or transferred.
- Financial Aid Impact: Receiving the scholarship may reduce federal financial aid eligibility.
- Disqualifications: The scholarship will not be awarded to:
- Students in non-master’s programs, certificates, or standalone courses.
- Students receiving military tuition rates, employer benefits, or other University of Phoenix scholarships.
- University of Phoenix current students or alumni.
- Automatic Termination: The scholarship is revoked if the recipient:
- Fails to meet eligibility or academic requirements.
- Withdraws, fails, or receives a W-grade in any class.
- Remains out of attendance for more than 35 days.
- Completes their master’s degree or reaches the two-year limit.
- University Discretion: The University of Phoenix reserves the right to modify scholarship terms or terminate awards at its discretion.
- No Appeals: Scholarship decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
- Legal Compliance: Recipients must comply with the University of Phoenix Student Code of Conduct and all academic policies.
