Roskilde University is offering Danish state tuition fee waivers and scholarships available for non-EU/EEA citizens. Scholarships are available for pursuing Master degree programme for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Scholarship Benefits: A limited number of Danish state tuition fee waivers and scholarships are offered to highly talented students at the graduate level, who come from countries outside of the EU/EEA and need a residence permit to study at Roskilde University.
The tuition fee waivers and scholarships are only distributed once a year for the September entry. The tuition fee waiver and scholarship have a maximum length of 22 months for programmes that start in September. The scholarship amounts to DKK 7,800 per month and is meant to cover living expenses in Denmark.
Number of Scholarships: Limited number of scholarships will be offered to the students.
Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
- In order to be eligible to apply for a tuition fee waiver and scholarship, you must be a non-EU/EEA citizen that is required to pay tuition fees.
- Please note that being eligible to apply for a tuition fee waiver and scholarship does not guarantee that you will be awarded a tuition fee waiver and scholarship. There is a very limited number, and there are many more applicants than tuition fee waivers and scholarships. Applicants are ranked based on their academic performance.
- The university reserves the rights to decide in each admission round that only applicant for specific master programmes are considered for a tuition fee waivers and scholarships.
- Tuition fee waiver and scholarship students must follow the study plan and not be delayed in their studies in order to maintain the tuition fee waiver and scholarship.
Nationality: Scholarships are available to non-EU/EEA citizens.
How to Apply: Students must apply by uploading a motivational letter and CV outlining your academic and occupational background to your online application for admission to the master programmes within the application deadlines. The digital application system is available one month before the application deadline. It is advisable to apply well in time, as you may encounter unforeseen problems during the application process including technical problems. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to apply within the application deadline.
