This part-time academic mentoring scheme is designed for UK civil servants (grades SEO-G6) to collaborate with leading academics on policy development. What is the OIT Policy Fellowship?

The OIT Policy Fellowship is a six-month, flexible programme that pairs civil servants with academic mentors from top UK institutions. The fellowship supports evidence-based policymaking by enabling participants to research and develop policy outputs tailored to their department’s needs.
