The University of Kent Scholarships are now open for September 2017 intake. Scholarships will be awarded to UK, EU and overseas applicants to pursue the undergraduate programme.
The University of Kent is a public research university based in Kent, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1965 and is recognised as a plate glass university.
Students whose first language is not English, and who live/study in a non-majority English-speaking country are required to have an appropriate grade/score in an approved English language examination.
Degree Level: Scholarship is available to pursue the undergraduate programme.
Avaliable Subject: Scholarship is awarded in all subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Benifits: This scholarship is worth £2,000 a year, renewable on an annual basis (subject to good academic progress). It may be held in conjunction with a University bursary.
Eligibility: Originally, this scholarship has been awarded to all those who achieve AAA at A-level (or specified equivalents). University has extended this scholarship to include those who achieve AAB at A level (or specified equivalents) where one of the subjects is either Mathematics or a Modern Foreign Language. The scholarship will be awarded to UK, EU and Overseas applicants to the University of Kent who meets all the criteria below. Applicants must
- Be entering the first year (Stage 1) of undergraduate degree study at the University of Kent’s Canterbury or Medway campus from September 2017,
- Have achieved the required grades for at least one of the qualifications specified below,
- Have not attained any qualification higher than those listed below (i.e. do not already hold an undergraduate degree),
- Have satisfied conditions of entry to the University of Kent.

How to Apply: There is no separate application form to complete. If you have applied to the University of Kent and have attained the necessary grades, your scholarship will be confirmed by email in September 2017. For applying to the University of Kent, applicants will need to apply through UCAS, the UK’s Universities and Colleges Admissions Service.
Deadline: The UCAS application deadline is 15th January 2017 (for the majority of courses).
